PRESS RELEASE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF REGULAR SOLDIERS AND AGNIVEERS INTO INDIAN ARMY FOR THE YEAR 2024-25
This is to inform all aspirants that submission of online application for recruitment into Indian Army for the Year 2024-25 will be open from 13 February 2024 to 22 March 2024 under the aegis of HQ Recruiting Zone, Bangalore and Army Recruiting Office, Calicut for volunteer male and female candidates (for WMP) from seven districts of North Kerala viz Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, and UTs of Mahe and Lakshadweep. The details are given in succeeding paragraphs.
- The recruitment process will be carried out in two phases as under:- (a) Phase I – Online Common Entrance Examination pan India at nominated Computer Based Training (CBT) Centres (b) Phase II – Recruitment Rally by Army Recruitment Offices at selected rally venue.
- Submission of online application is mandatory for selection as:- (a) Agniveers. In categories viz Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer {(Office Asst/ Store Keeper Technical (SKT)}, Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass, Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass and Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police) as per eligibility and *notifications as uploaded on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. (b) Regular Soldiers. In categories viz Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (Army Medical Corps)/ Nursing Assistant (Veterinary), Sepoy Pharma, Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) (Engineers), Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher) (All Arms), Junior Commissioned Officer (Catering) (Army Service Corps) and Havildar Education (Army Education Corps) as per eligibility and notifications as uploaded on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- The details of age, educational qualification and other criteria for enrolment in the specified categories in the Indian Army are given in the respective notifications by HQ Recruiting Zone, Bangalore and Army Recruiting Office, Calicut dated 12 February 2024 uploaded on Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- The schedule of recruitment events for the year is as given below:- (a) Window for online application by candidates – 13 February to 22 March 2024 (b) Conduct of Online Common Entrance Exam – 22 April 2024 onwards (c) Result of Online Common Entrance Exam – May 2024 (d) Conduct of recruitment rallies of shortlisted – June 2024 onwards candidates
- Candidates desirous of joining Indian Army are required to register themselves first by creating an account by providing the requisite details on Join Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Registration of candidates on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in is mandatory prior to submission of online application.
