Lekhram Foundation is a non profit organization registered as a Public Charitable Trust. Lekhram Foundation, started its operation in Kerala with the sole objective of providing succour to the depressed.
We commit our self to helping those in the poor communities improve their lives and achieve lasting victories over poverty. We aim to advance the study in various segments and understand the links between these fields and the development of human capital and social capital, along with their implications for governments, businesses and civic society in the region. The Foundation acts as both a think tank and active implementer of ideas in practice for the region. We envision becoming one of the world’s largest international humanitarian organizations, committed to helping families in poor communities improve their lives and achieve lasting victories in life.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

The nature of its works are purely charitable. The main objective of this Foundation is to promote the study and research in Oriental learning with special emphasis on Indological subjects like Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy, Culture, Literature, History, Arts, Architecture, Ayurveda, Sidha Vaidya, Yoga science, Agriculture, Organic Farming, Cottage Industries, Preservation of Indigenous cows etc. and so on, and thus to contribute towards the preservation and maintenance of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

OUR PROJECTS:

• To facilitate and advance the study and research in Sanskrit, Malayalam and other branches of oriental languages. Special emphasis is given on its rich grammar studies.
• To promote scientific methods of research by academic programs etc for preparing students for higher qualifications in ancient grammatical works such as Ashtadhyayi, Mahabhashya, NIruktha etc in Sanskrit and similar books in Malayalam.
• To establish a reference library and resource center for the benefit of students and scholars in Oriental studies.
• To prepare, compile and publish books and periodicals, and to bring out critical editions of ancient texts in Sanskrit, Malayalam and other Oriental studies.
• To take up research schemes, execute projects and initiate such other programs for the propagation of the objectives of the Foundation as mentioned under the heading of Aims and Objectives.
• To institute professorships, fellowships and studentships, grants for pursuing oriental studies.
• To cooperate with like minded organizations including Universities, Government and other agencies for

ലേഖരാം ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ എന്ത്? എന്തിന്?

സംസ്കൃതഭാഷയിൽ ‘ലേഖഃ’ എന്നതിന് എഴുതപ്പെട്ടത്, വാങ്മയം, ഭാഷ എന്നൊക്കെയാണർത്ഥം. *ലിഖ അക്ഷര വിന്യാസേ* (ധാതുപാഠം – തുദാദിഗണം. സൂത്രസംഖ്യ 74) എന്ന ധാതുവിനോട് ‘ഭാവേ’ (അഷ്ടാധ്യായി 3.3.18) എന്ന സൂത്രത്താൽ ഭാവത്തിൽ (ധാത്വർത്ഥ വാച്യത്തിൽ ‘ഘഞ്’ പ്രത്യയം ചേരുമ്പോൾ ‘ലേഖഃ’ എന്ന ശബ്ദം സിദ്ധിക്കുന്നു.
‘രാമഃ’ എന്നതിന് എതിലാണോ രമിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണർത്ഥം. ‘രമു ക്രീഡായാം’ (ധാതു പാഠം – ഭ്വാദിഗണം. സൂത്രസംഖ്യ 592) എന്ന ധാതുവിനോട് ‘ഹലശ്ച’ (അഷ്ടാധ്യായി 3.3.111) എന്ന സൂത്രത്താൽ അധികരണ കാരകത്തിൽ  ‘ഘഞ്’ പ്രത്യയം ചേരുമ്പോൾ ‘രാമഃ’ എന്ന് സിദ്ധിക്കുന്നു.
ഏത് ശ്രേഷ്ഠഭാഷയിൽ അഥവാ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ സാഹിത്യരൂപിയായ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ (വിന്യാസത്തിൽ) മനുഷ്യർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനം രമണം ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ അതിന്റെ പേരാണ് ലേഖരാം ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ. അതാണ് നാം മുന്നോട്ടുവെക്കുന്ന കർമ്മപദ്ധതിയും.
പൗരസ്ത്യ ശ്രേഷ്ഠഭാഷകളായ സംസ്കൃതം, മലയാളം, തമിഴ് തുടങ്ങിയവയുടെ ഉന്നതമായ വ്യാകരണ വൈശിഷ്ട്യം പുതിയ തലമുറയ്ക്ക് പകർന്നു നൽകുക, ഈ ഭാഷകളിലുള്ള സാഹിത്യങ്ങളിൽ ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുക, ജൈവകൃഷി, നാടൻ പശുപരിപാലനം, യോഗ, ആയുർവേദം, സിദ്ധവൈദ്യം, കുടിൽ വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ, നാടൻ കലകൾ തുടങ്ങിയവയേ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക, ഈ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ ലാഭേച്ഛയില്ലാതെ സാമൂഹ്യ സേവനഭാവത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തികളെയും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെയും പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുക, അവയെ നിലനിർത്താൻ വേണ്ടുന്ന സഹായങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുക മുതലായവയാണ് ഈ ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ ലക്ഷ്യം വെക്കുന്നത്
